Excursion in Karlovac

Within the framework of the work of the Croatian Agrometeorological Society was organized one-day excursion to Karlovac, April 8, 2017. The excursion was of educational nature, and with the sightseeing of the city: the Star, the Franciscan monastery museum and the old town of Dubovac, the greatest emphasis was on the visit of the Karlovac meteorological station and the visit to the aquarium of freshwater Aquatika.

Meteorological station tour has greatly contributed to the expansion of knowledge in the field of agrometeorology and the importance of data collection for the purpose of monitoring weather conditions in this area. The interest of the participations has shown that the gatherings of this type are of great importance in the work of society and contribute to the greater cohesion of members and the exchange of experiences of related areas.
