16th Annual Assembly of Croatian Agrometeorological Society

Due to the COVID-19 situation the 16th Annual Conference of the Croatian Agrometeorological Society, which was also the election session, was held on December 14–18, 2020. by e-mail. The president of Croatian Agrometeorological Society prepared an overview of the Society work in the period 2012–2020. In the 8.5-year term 39 agrometeorological seminars, one working meeting, seven agrometeorological workshops, six excursions, two open days, two round tables and a conference were organized. There were mobile and microclimate measurements in 2013 that took place on the islands of Hvar and Korčula. A total of 447 letters, 80 contracts, 37 competitions, 27 reports on actual projects was written and 39 meetings of the Steering Committee, two urgent meeting, the ten oversight of the Supervisory Board and the 16th Assembly were held.

At the electoral assembly president of HAgMD an Assoc. Prof. Damir Barčić from Faculty of Forestry, University of Zagreb and members of the Steering Committee, Supervisory Board and Court of Honor were elected. A new Steering Committee convened on December 22, 2020 and new functions of individual members were elected:

1. Dr. Antun Marki – Department of Geophysics, Faculty of Science, University of Zagreb – Vice President
2. Assis. Peof. Darija Bilandžija – Faculty of Agriculture, University of Zagreb– Secretary
3. Vesna Đuričić – Croatian Meteorological and Hydrological Service – treasurer
4. Pof. Danijel Jug – Faculty of Agrobiotechnical Sciences, J. J. Strossmayer University of Osijek
5. Petra Sviličić – Croatian Meteorological and Hydrological Service
6. Željka Prša

For the members of the Supervisory Board were elected:
1. Nada Dadaček – College of Agriculture in Križevci (retired) – President
2. Dr. Maša Zorana Ostrogović Sever – Croatian Forest Research Institute Jastrebarsko
3. Ivana Čavlina Tomašević – Croatian Meteorological and Hydrological Service

For the members of the Court of Honor were elected:
1. Prof. Branko Grisogono – Department of Geophysics, Faculty of Science, University of Zagreb – President
2. Prof. Željko Španjol – Faculty of Forestry, University of Zagreb
3. Marko Vučetić – Croatian Meteorological and Hydrological Service (retired)
